Additional Information Mozart composed over 600 works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic and choral music. He had many pupils during his lifetime, but more important is the influence Mozart had on composers of later generations. After his death, studying his scores has been a standard part of the training of classical musicians. Beethoven was deeply influenced by Mozart’s work and many of his work have direct models in comparable works by Mozart. However, Beethoven never studied under Mozart.
